Banking Summit - Leading into a New Era

For two days, the challenges of banking in the digital age were discussed and analysed at a conference organised by the APB and SIBS. It was attended by some of the most important figures in the banking sector.
The President of Portugal, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of Banco de Portugal, the President of the European Banking Federation, representatives of some of the most advanced banks in the digital age and the chairpersons of the main Portuguese banks attended the event.
The changes taking place in the sector, competition from new players, the need for equal regulation for all, changes in the payment system and the challenges of retraining human resources were some of the issues addressed.
