Launched by the European Banking Federation (EBF), European Money Week is an initiative to promote financial education which takes place every year in March and involves more than 20 countries at European level.

In the course of that week, banking associations in the various countries involved carry out a series of activities aimed at promoting financial education to different audiences, including children, young people and entrepreneurs.

The main aim of this project is to underline the importance of greater and broader financial education in Portugal and Europe, raising community awareness of the importance of adopting appropriate behaviours for current and future financial choices.
