Banks conduct joint prevention campaign on the 10 main internet security rules - 26 March to 8 April.

With the motto "This Easter be wary of sweet surprises!”, the APB's Interbank Forum for Online Security APB, to which important financial institutions in the country belong, is conducting an awareness and prevention campaign this Easter to draw attention to the 10 basic internet security rules.

This is the banking sector's fourth joint awareness campaign and begins on 26 March. It will be available on the banks' websites until 8 April 2013. The Interbank Forum started these campaigns in 2011.

The current campaign draws attention to situations created with the only purpose of obtaining personal information so that others can access the bank accounts of people who do not follow internet security rules. And so to ensure that internet users don't have any unpleasant surprises this Easter, the Interbank Forum for Online Security has 10 Easter treats for them, 10 rules that can help keep browsing safe. The banks have been using their websites and other media to inform their customers how to protect their computers.
