The American Chamber of Commerce promotes a breakfast, on the 11th of May, to discuss expectations and perspectives for 2023, in particular, what is expected from financing and investment for Portugal.

The breakfast debate will be attended by the Secretary General of the APB, Norberto Rosa, who will address the current macroeconomic scenario and also some data on company financing.

The panel will also feature interventions by Luis Laginha de Sousa, President of the CMVM, Miguel Athayde Marques, President of the Board of AEM, Isabel Ucha, President of Euronext and Stephan Morais of the Portuguese Association of Venture Capital.

In a conversation moderated by Paulo Fernandes, a Deloitte partner, the gaps in investment and financing of the Portuguese businessess were highlighted, in particular, the need for greater ambition of our companies, to grow and gain muscle so as not to run the risk of being integrated into large international groups.
