The role of banking sector in savings

As part of its Financial Education project, APB will promote an information session for high school students about the “Role of Banks in Savings”.

The session will be led by Lúcia Canário from the Marketing Department of Banco CTT who will address the main financial products in the market and the role of banks in promoting savings and investment.

Why is it important to save? What is the difference between a deposit and a bond? Does the stock maket have risks?

The session will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes, including a Q&A period. During the session all participants will have their microphones turned off and may “raise their hands” if they want to intervene or ask a question.
