The President of the APB participates in the panel Presentation of selected digital financial education initiatives in Portugal organised within the digital literacy workshop promoted by Banco de Portugal, the European Commission, and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on 8 March.

This workshop, which will take place at the Museu do Dinheiro (the Money Museum), in Lisbon, is part of a project for the development of a digital financial literacy strategy for Portugal, which is funded by the European Union and developed by Banco de Portugal with the support of the OECD.

The main results of the diagnosis undertaken under this project on the existing digital financial education initiatives in Portugal will be presented at the workshop.

The workshop will also analyse the main challenges and objectives in the development of a digital financial education strategy, and national and international experiences in the empowerment of citizens to access financial products and services through digital channels will be shared.
