There will be activities at nine primary and secondary schools during European Money Week, reaching around 500 students.  These activities will be organised by members of the Financial Education Working Group at Associação Portuguesa de Bancos and will consist of:

  • Classes about 'Financial Education', involving a 'Financial Education Quiz' for students in the classroom, based on the fundamental concepts of the banking system, bank products and the principles of saving and its importance. The quiz is for lower and upper secondary students.
  • A Drawing competition – My Euro Note, in which the students are invited to design and draw their own euro note. The regulations will be available on the APB website as of 9 March. This competition is for primary and lower secondary students.

Activities at schools will go on for the rest of the year, after Money Week is over.
